  • There is plenty of iron in things like chicken, mutton. It also contains folate, which protects you from anemia and iron deficiency.
  • Anemia can be reduced with basil leaves. Eating basil leaves regularly increases the amount of hemoglobin in the body.
  • Iron deficiency can also be overcome by eating whole grains and rich pulses. It helps in increasing the level of hemoglobin.
  • Never take iron rich food with calcium rich food. If you eat both together, calcium will block iron in the body and you will not get enough nutrition.
